A big update on Bucs’ injury statuses going into the weekend, as starting defensive lineman Logan Hall misses practice for a third straight day and looks as if he will not suit up Sunday vs. the Commanders, our Rock Riley tells us.

This should open up opportunities for depth pieces on the Bucs’ defensive front. Veteran William Gholston is gearing up for his 11th season and may just be starting this game as young Logan Hall is trending towards missing. It will also open up an opportunity for newly-signed Ben Stille, a defensive lineman coming from the Cardinals practice squad.

Another Roster Spot Up For Grabs Going Into Week One

The Buccaneers signed Stille to fill the spot of DL Earnest Brown IV, who will miss at least the first four games of the season after being placed on IR Wednesday. Another move will follow these roster changes going into the weekend with a free roster spot lingering. Expect the Bucs to call up one of their practice-squad d-linemen in Mike Greene or C.J. Brewer after a solid preseason.
