Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Detroit Lions: Week 2 Initial Injury Report

Here is the first injury report of the week for the Bucs and Lions ahead of their week two matchup
Transcript

The initial injury report for week two is better than many probably expected after all the injuries the Buccaneers suffered leading into and during week one. Defensive lineman Logan Hall and cornerback Zyon McCollum returned to practice Wednesday, though McCollum was in a non-contact jersey. He has plenty more to do in order to clear the concussion protocol, but being on the field at all is a step in the right direction.

Still absent was defensive lineman Calijah Kancey who is dealing with the same calf injury he suffered early in his rookie year as well as safety Antoine Winfield Jr who is set to miss at least the next two weeks - maybe more - with an ankle/foot injury.

For the Lions, they saw Penei Sewell, Marcus Davenport, and Ifeatu Melifonwu miss the portion of practice open to the media. Certainly player - especially Sewell - to keep an eye on as the week progresses.
