Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Washington Commanders: Week One Inactives

Here is who's in and who's out for the Buccaneers and Commanders in week one
Transcript

The Bucs and Commanders are set to kick off their NFL season today in Tampa and the Bucs come into week one already dealing with injury problems along the defensive line. Two starters - Calijah Kancey and Logan Hall - were already ruled out while backup Earnest Brown was placed on injured reserve earlier in the week. As a result, the Bucs have elevated Mike Greene and C.J. Brewer off the practice squad to give the Buccaneers some depth in the trenches.

Another scare early in the week was kicker Chase McLaughlin, who missed Wednesday's practice with an illness/abdominal injury. Luckily, he was able to return on Thursday and will be able to play in today's game.

For the Commanders, they will be without backup quarterback Marcus Mariota - who is dealing with a pec injury and was placed on injured reserve - as well as rookie defensive lineman Jer'Zhan Newton who has been slow to return from multiple surgeries on his foot. While Newton was able to practice a little this week, he will not make his debut this week.
