The Buccaneers had themselves quite a historic performance this past Sunday in New Orleans
Transcript

“Oh, when the Bucs come marching in..”

After being displaced by Hurricane Milton earlier in the week, the Buccaneers entered New Orleans looking to give Tampa Bay hope with a much-needed win against their division rival.

And boy... the Bucs marched into a historic win with monster numbers on offense, outscoring the Saints 51-27.

How did they put up such a lopsided score? Let’s take a look at the numbers.

The Bucs outplayed the Saints in all facets of the game, recording 31 first downs and converting 6-of-10 third down attempts. 15 of their first downs came through the passing game, and 13 were on foot. The remaining three first downs were thanks to penalties.

The run game came alive for the second week in a row with one change: Rachaad White was ruled out. Enter, Bucky Irving and Sean Tucker -- “Buck N' Tuck”.

Irving and Tucker split time, carrying the ball 14 times each. Tucker led the game with 136 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown, averaging 9.6 yards per carry. Irving followed suit with 81 rushing yards and a touchdown, averaging 5.8 yards per carry.

Despite a shaky second quarter, Baker Mayfield's MVP-caliber season is still intact. Mayfield boasted two passing touchdowns in both halves and finished the outing 24-of-36 for 325 passing yards, four touchdowns, and three interceptions.

The Bucs offense left New Orleans with a franchise record of 594 total yards.

After a heartbreaking loss in the final moments of last week's game against the Atlanta Falcons, the Bucs finished the game with an emphasis.

All eyes are now on the Baltimore Ravens, who the Buccaneers host in Tampa for Monday Night Football next week.
